How to use this

Follow the circle: breathe in as it grows, hold if there’s a pause, and breathe out as it shrinks back down. You don’t need to get it perfect — a few rounds is enough to help settle a busy nervous system, yours or your child’s.

This is the same “support the body first” approach we talk about across our blog — particularly in our emotional regulation series. Calming strategies work best before a meltdown peaks, and as a gentle reset afterwards — not as a way to stop a big feeling in the moment.
