About Flare Therapy

Mobile occupational therapy for children, teens and young adults across Perth's northern suburbs — led by an OT who's also walked this road as a parent.

Chris Armstrong, Founder and Principal Occupational Therapist of Flare Therapy
Meet the founder

Hi, I’m Chris — Founder and Principal Occupational Therapist.

I work with children, teens and young adults to build real-life skills, confidence and independence, using a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education — a combination that shapes how I collaborate with schools, teachers and support teams. Before Flare Therapy, I worked extensively as a high-support Education Assistant, which grounded my practical, individualised approach to everyday challenges.

As a parent of a child diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, I bring personal, lived insight into navigating therapy, education and support systems — alongside professional expertise.

“Flare Therapy was created with one purpose: to ensure every client feels supported, understood, and empowered — and to help people build the most independent, meaningful life possible.”CHRIS ARMSTRONG, FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
