Self care + Life skills
- Personal hygiene (Brushing teeth, washing hands, bathing/showering, combing hair/shaving).
- Dressing (Buttoning, zips, pulling on/off clothes, supporting with correct orientation of clothes, selecting appropriate clothing, shoelace tying.
- Toileting (Using the toilet independently, managing hygiene and cleaning after toileting).

Gross/Fine motor skills
- Handwriting and Pre-Writing Skills: Developing proper pencil grip, letter formation, and control for writing. - Pincer Grip and Grasp Strength: Enhancing the ability to manipulate small objects like beads, coins, and/or buttons. - Scissor Skills: Learning to cut shapes, lines, and patterns using appropriate hand coordination. - Hand-Eye Coordination: Activities such as threading beads, puzzles, or using tweezers. - Coordination for Play: Catching, throwing, and kicking balls to develop motor planning and timing. - Crossing the Midline: Encouraging activities that require one hand or foot to move across the body's centre, essential for writing, tying shoes, and other tasks.
Social skills
Communication skills: - Understanding non-verbal cues. - Active listening skills. - Communicate effectively with others.​
Making friends: - Approaching peers and initiating conversations. - Finding common interests and topics to discuss. - Building and maintaining relationships. - Asking a peer to play. - Play development (symbolic play, imaginative play, cooperative play).

Conflict resolution: - Identifying problems and negotiating solutions. - Managing disagreements and understanding different perspectives.
